A little bit about me!
My name is Millicent Animley, CRNP, FNP-C, a Family Nurse Practitioner.
My desire for homecare was born out of the experience I had of not being able to be there for my Dad when he was sick. He lived thousands of miles away, and he passed away before I could get there. From there on, I had a renewed passion for caring for the sick. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at that time, it brought me so much joy to see patients who were well cared for. For me, each time I cared for a patient, I was caring for my Dad.
I graduated from Nursing School and worked as an Emergency Room (ER) nurse. I also worked in Gastroenterology, Occupational Health, and Home Care. I currently practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
I believe that even when family cannot be there, there should be someone who can care for you like family would. Here at One-in-a-Millie, we will find you the one in a million caregiver who will care for you or your loved one just like family!
